An Adviser Helped Me Sell My Record Store
Nearly thirty years ago I founded a record shop in my town. I built it due to my my passion for music and collecting records. My significant other mentioned I build a record store. she probably was hoping to get those records out of the home. Well, I decided to found a record shop. I loved it. However, after a few years passed I decided I didn't want to do it any more. I listed my business on the market. But actually doing it was difficult.
My friend thought I should hire a business adviser to assist me. First off, I didn't want to sell to a huge company. I wanted the new owner would keep the original, DIY leanings which I'd instilled in it. Thankfully, the handyman services franchise Chicago IL respected my hopes and after seven months we stumbled upon a fantastic buyer.
Now that it's not my record store I still stop by to look for vinyl. I'm constantly looking for great music, but the drawback being my record collection is quickly expanding. Hopefully, I'll keep my collection in my home this time.
